Our story
Software built by someone who actually runs a sports club.
Wazygoose wasn’t designed in a boardroom or built by a team who’d never set foot in a sports club. It started because a real club needed a better way to manage itself — and it’s been growing, improving, and serving clubs across the UK ever since.
2009 — The beginning
Wazygoose launches at Northern Squash Club in Newcastle, replacing paper booking sheets and manually managed league tables.
Early 2010s — Opening up
Other clubs ask to come on board. The platform expands into a fully multi-tenant system, adding memberships, payments, and competition management.
2020s — Growing the platform
SquashLevels integration, group memberships, and tennis league management added. Wazygoose continues to expand based directly on what clubs actually ask for.
Today
Over 15 years on, Wazygoose serves clubs and thousands of members across the UK — and is still built, maintained, and supported by the same person who started it.
Where it started
Northern Squash Club, Newcastle. A pile of paper booking sheets. And a better idea.
In 2009, Northern Squash Club in Gosforth, Newcastle was running its bookings the way most clubs did — paper sheets, phone calls, and a lot of chasing. Wayne Eastaugh, a member and committee member at the club, built Wazygoose to fix that.
What started as a bookings system for one club quickly grew into something more ambitious — league management, memberships, payments, competitions — as it became clear that every problem Northern faced was a problem other clubs faced too.
Wayne still sits on the committee at Northern Squash Club today, which means Wazygoose is still being developed by someone with a direct stake in getting it right.

“Wazygoose started here — and every feature on the platform exists because a real club needed it.”
Proudly North East
Built on Tyneside.
Trusted across the UK.
The River Tyne has a long tradition of building things that last. Ships, bridges, and engineering that shaped the world were conceived and crafted right here in the North East — by people who took pride in their work and stood behind what they made.
Wazygoose is a small part of that same tradition. Built in Newcastle, designed to last, and supported by the person who built it.
From the banks of the Tyne to squash clubs, tennis leagues, and leisure facilities across England — we’ve grown steadily, one club at a time, on the strength of a platform that simply works.
“Just as Tyneside’s shipbuilders put their names to vessels that sailed the world, we put our name to software that clubs and their members rely on every day. That sense of craft and accountability doesn’t go out of fashion.”
— Wayne Eastaugh, founder, Wazygoose Limited
Crafted, not assembled
Every feature is built deliberately, tested thoroughly, and improved continuously based on real feedback from real clubs.
Over 15 years without interruption
Running continuously since 2009. Clubs that joined in the early years are still with us — and still growing with the platform.
Built with skin in the game
Wayne uses Wazygoose at his own club every week. There’s no better quality assurance than that.
Rooted in the North East
Designed and built in Newcastle upon Tyne since 2009. Not a satellite office, not outsourced — made here.
What we believe
Software should fit around your club.
Not the other way round.
A few principles that have guided every decision we’ve made over 15 years.
Clubs aren’t businesses. Don’t treat them like one.
Sports clubs are run by volunteers, committee members, and people who love their sport. Wazygoose is designed for people who run clubs in their spare time — not full-time administrators.
Features come from real clubs with real problems.
Every module on the platform exists because a club asked for it. We don’t build features to pad a brochure — we build them because someone needed them and we could see it would help others too.
Support means actually helping. Not logging a ticket.
When something isn’t right, you’ll speak to someone who knows the platform inside out and can fix it. That’s not a selling point — it’s just how we think support should work.
Transparent pricing, no surprises.
You choose the modules you need and pay a straightforward monthly subscription. No setup fees, no annual lock-in, no sudden price changes. What you see on the pricing page is what you pay.
Works on every device. Always has.
Wazygoose is entirely web-based — your members can book a court, check the league table, or renew their membership from any phone, tablet, or PC, at any time of day.
Continuity matters. We’re not going anywhere.
Wazygoose has been running continuously for over 15 years. The clubs using it today can rely on it still being there — and still being improved — well into the future.
The person behind it
Founded on Tyneside. Built to last.
Wayne Eastaugh is the developer, owner, and founder of Wazygoose — and a squash player who sits on the committee at Northern Squash Club. That dual role means every decision about the platform is made by someone who genuinely understands what a club needs, not just what software can do.
When you contact Wazygoose, you’re talking directly to the person who built it. No support tickets. No call centres. No passing your query along a chain. Just someone who knows the platform inside out and can actually fix the problem.
Wazygoose has been running since 2009 and serves clubs across the UK. Wazygoose Limited is registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12344009), based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
