Boldon Squash Club is a small but friendly club - we offer four courts 365 days of the year with bookings every 45 minutes, from early morning until late in the evening. Internal leagues played throughout the year, squash competitions and a well stocked bar.
Formed in 1950, Carlisle Squash Club has developed into one of the best squash facilities in the North of England with six squash courts (two show court glass-backs with seating for 250 spectators) a state of the art gym, spinning studio and steam room. It has achieved a Gold Award by England Squash the highest award bestowed on any club.
The club is a friendly, private members club with 3 courts with balconies, and both male & female shower and changing facilities.
We currently have 3 teams playing in the Welsh Leagues along with junior coaching facilities on most Saturday mornings.
We also run a “club night” which is usually held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, when you can turn up and play other members. Non members are welcome!
As a member you get keys to the club meaning that you can play 24/7 so you don’t have to ring up and wait to book a court like a Leisure Centre – if you can find one with squash courts these days!
Northern Squash Club, based at Northern Rugby Football Club in Gosforth, Newcastle, is one of the largest and most active squash clubs in the region. With eleven competitive teams across men's, ladies', and junior squash, thriving internal leagues for all standards, and a highly regarded junior coaching programme, there's something here for every level of player. Individual coaching is also available, and new members are always welcome.
Norton Squash Club, based in the Tees Valley in County Durham, is one of the largest and most welcoming squash clubs in the region. With four glass-back courts, four competitive men's/mixed teams, a monthly box league, and regular club nights for both squash and racquetball, there's something for players of every standard. Junior coaching and adult coaching referrals are also available, and non-members are always welcome to come along and give it a try.
Primrose Community Centre boasts two squash courts recently refurbished to an excellent standard. They are bright, warm and deliver a true bounce of the ball. They are at ground level with a glass back design leading to the same level viewing area behind for spectators and players alike and are widely regarded as two of the best courts in the Northumbria squash area.
The Centre is proud to support three squash teams, the men’s first and second teams and also a ladies team. Anyone can play for the teams should you have an interest and there is no requirement to play in the leagues to be a team player.
There is also a Junior Squash section where up and coming future players learn and improve their game with the dedicated assistance of qualified squash coaches. Youngsters from the age of 6 years can learn the game, improve their social skills and benefit from interacting with young people with a shared interest.
There are qualified squash coaches available for more adult members also. Should you require top class coaching to raise your game, make enquiries at the centre for details. Primrose Squash has a reputation for being a friendly, unassuming, welcoming section of Primrose Community Centre and new members soon feel at home amongst more long term, regular players who will be more than happy to “give you a game” no matter what level or ability you play at. You can be assured that once you have experienced playing at Primrose squash you will continue to enjoy being part of a great section for many years to come.
The current Durham & Cleveland County Club of the Year, we are situated within the MacKinlay Park complex alongside the Rugby Club offering 4 glassback courts, showers, social area with shared bar facilities and function rooms. A family friendly club ideal for the serious or social player with thriving men’s, ladies and junior sections.

Sunderland Squash Club is the hub for playing squash and racquetball in Sunderland. Our 3 courts can be found within Ashbrooke Sports Club – locally known as the home of sport in our city. We recently received a sizeable grant from Sport England and have renovated our 3 courts plus the male and female changing rooms! So, we have brand new facilities with a vision to re-connect the population of Sunderland with the brilliant game of squash.
