There was a great turnout for this annual event - with plenty of people keen to burn off those Christmas calories! Lots of Christmas hats were worn on court, with the fancy dress winner, Phil Purvis, even wearing his Christmas jumper and enjoying a 'fag' while he played!!
It was to be a tiered event - 3 matched ability groups playing each other for points. To add an extra dimension, points could also be won in the 'off-court' games. These were held on the balcony and included golf putting, table tennis and toss-the-coin.
Lots of fun and some pretty good squash was had by all with mince pies and mulled wine to end the night.
Overall points winner was Glen Ward. Junior Hugo Fletcher ran away with the points for the balcony games.
