Squash Club Renovations
The work on the squash club is now virtually complete. There are only a few minor cosmetic items that need attention. All of the members that I have spoken to have been very positive about the alterations/renovations to the squash area and very happy with the finished project. It is hoped that all the members will use the facilities in a responsible manner so we can keep the squash club area looking as good it is now.
Light Machine
The repair of the light machine is proving more problematic than was first thought so I hope you will bear with us until this situation is resolved. Will all members please continue to be responsible and honest and place the appropriate fee in the slot provided.
Squash Teams Season 2011-2012
The committee have decided to keep the same number of men`s teams for season 2011-2012 but to replace the ladies 3rd team with a junior female team who are to play on a Sunday evening at 7pm. This decision was taken because the committee felt that the number of senior female members who wished to play team squash players did not warrant 3 ladies teams and as the bulk of last season`s ladies 3rd team were juniors, who now wanted their own team. This decision also makes more court time available during the week for other members to use. I would like to take this opportunity to remind team players that home matches should start at 7pm.
