OCTOBER JUNIOR PLAYER OF THE MONTH The Northern Squash club junior player of the month for October is Evie Paterson. Yet another product of our junior schools outreach programme, Evie has started doing our before school squash training this season. She comes along with another 11 juniors , three times a week at 6.45am to train before school. Along with this extra training , Evie and her sister Shae have been travelling the country most weekends to play in England Squash sanctioned tournaments. This has led to some dramatic improvements in Evie's game. At the end of September she defied the seedings to reach the county championships final and then during October she was chosen to play for the county for the first time. Evie should be very proud of her progress and with her enthusiasm for squash we think there is still more improvement to come.
