A number of squash players may have been exposed to an understanding of the "let" however there are numerous other squash rules that members could benefit from understanding. Worry not Northern Squash is now offering an opportunity to understand the rules of squash from the best.
Martin Roberts is a retired England Squash National Grade referee who has been an active referee for over 30 years. A Referee Instructor for over 20 years and heading all England Squash initial referee training for the past 12 years. Martin was employed full time by England Squash as their 'Referee Development Manager' for 10 of those years. Martin has delivered numerous referee workshops to squash clubs throughout the United Kingdom.
Northern Squash, after negotiation have obtained Martin's attendance to impart his knowledge to members on Sunday 26th January 2020.
The in-house learning will take place at Northern from 11.30am and entail members' attendance for approximately four hours. Via Wazygoose we will take names of attendees. This squash instruction fee for Martin will be financed by Northern Squash making the attendance of members free. However individuals signing up to attend will be asked to pay £5.00 via Wazygoose. This fee will be reimbursed on the attendance of the individual on 26th January 2020 or forfeited by non attendance.
