Northern hosted a festival of squash for 36 year fives from Gosforth Junior Academy recently. There were 18 girls and 18 boys in attendance with six juniors from each of their six classes.
Coaches , Richard Vitty, Kieran Mahoney and Mike Paul showed the juniors the fundamentals of the sport during a morning of instruction and then there was an inter class competition in the afternoon.
The children all had a great time and for the record the boys and girls of 5A beat 5H in the final. Some of the boys and girls, who attended have already booked a free trial in one of our junior sessions.
