Tynemouth Squash Club is excited to announce the upcoming MatchPoint #14 Tynemouth Open, taking place on Saturday, 11th October. This popular one-day graded tournament promises an action-packed day of competitive squash for players of all abilities.
The tournament guarantees all participants three matches in a best-of-three format (PAR 11), ensuring everyone gets plenty of court time regardless of results. Players will be divided into five grades based on their Squash Levels rating, from E Grade (0-299) through to A Grade (5,000+), creating fair and competitive matches throughout the day.
Entry is £30 per player, which includes a tournament t-shirt as a memento of the event. The grading system ensures players face opponents of similar standard, making for exciting and evenly-matched games across all categories.
