LOCAL SOLICITORS CONTINUE SPONSORSHIP OF NORTHERN JUNIOR SQUASH OPEN The Newcastle Junior open is being held at Northern squash club on the weekend of February 14th & 15th. There will be over 100 boys and girls between 8 and 18 years old. It is a great opportunity for our best juniors to pit themselves against the top players from around the region. The tournament is being sponsored for the third year running by local solicitors Quality Solicitors Lawson and Thompson. They have offices in Bedlington, Ashington and Blyth and are keen to help club members, families and friends with their legal problems when they arise.

Partner in the firm and club member Tim Barker specialises in family work and is a member of the Law Society's children panel. He also regularly represents clients in the criminal courts and deals with conveyancing and wills and probate. Tim has already prepared wills for a number of club members. Tim takes the view that local businesses should try to put something back into the community where possible and given that his two daughters will be entering the tournament as well as many other local juniors, it is well worthwhile supporting the club, and them, where possible.
