Abigail Bedford is the Newcastle Northern junior player of the month for December.
Abigail has been playing squash for about 6 years , since being spotted during the clubs school outreach programme as a 7 year old. She plays 4/5 times a week and also travels around the country playing tournaments. Abigail hasn't yet made a county team or won an England Squash event BUT she is always punctual and has a tremendous work ethic. Abigail`s best quality , however , is her temperament ... she tries her hardest in every rally but always ends every game with a smile on her face.
Abigail attends the three morning sessions we run at the club between 6.45 - 8.10am and in December she made an incredible Xmas breakfast for all the other 11 children ... this selfless act epitomises Abigail , she is sure to go far in squash and life!
