The Newcastle Junior open is being held at Northern squash club on the weekend of February 13th & 14th. There will be over 100 boys and girls between 8 and 18 years old. It is a great opportunity for our best juniors to pit themselves against the top players from around the region. Come down to the club to watch. The matches are high in quality. Members willing to help out with refereeing matches would be most welcome. Please contact Richard Vitty if you feel able to give up a couple of hours on either day. Tim takes the view that local businesses should try to put something back into the community where possible and given that his two daughters will be entering the tournament as well as many other local juniors, it is well worthwhile supporting the club, and them, where possible.
