The Newcastle Northern junior player of the month for February is Katie Barker. Katie is one of our most enthusiastic juniors and has had a fantastic month.
First up she beat the number 2 seed at the Dunlop Newcastle Northern to make it to her first open final , then last weekend she repeated the feat by making the final at Redcar , where she lost 12 – 10 in the fifth to a higher ranked player. We`re sure that her first tournament win is just around corner.
