We recently hosted our second middle school festival of the season, when 32 year three boys and girls from Gosforth East Middle school came to Northern to learn all about squash. GEMS is located less than half a mile from the club so the children were able to walk to the club on two consecutive days to learn the rules and do some practising on the first day and then play an inter class competition on the next. The competition proved to be the closest school competition we have had, with 5SL eventually winning by only one win ahead of 5AW , who were themselves only just ahead of 5EA and 5ER. They all seem to have had a great time!
