ASHBROOKE SPORTS CLUB

12th April 2021 - COVID-19 Opening Policy & Procedures

We are delighted to welcome you back to Ashbrooke. Please follow procedures below to help keep everyone safe.

• At the entry to the patio area, please wait to be approached by a staff member - everyone 16 years or older will be asked sign in or use the NHS QR code for those of you who have the Track and Trace APP
• You will be shown to a table or bench which is numbered – no more than 6 to a table/bench (including children) – please do not move the furniture • We operate table service only for the ordering and serving of drinks – please be patient • A staff member will take your order and this will be recorded on a tablet – confirm you order and pay by card – NO CASH TRANSACTIONS • The drinks will then be delivered to your table • Please dispose of plastic glasses and rubbish responsibly in the bins provided • The rule of 6 applies and individuals from different households can be part of a group of 6 • Children must always be supervised by a responsible adult – they can play on the grass areas away from the cricket pitch if suitably supervised • Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, but primarily that of the accompanying adult – please ensure your child is always kept safe • Dogs must always be kept on the lead and any mess cleaned up responsibly – no exceptions • If there are no numbered seating areas available you may wait until one does, but unfortunately you cannot be served without a designated table number • Distancing of at least 1 metre will be applied – please avoid shaking hands or cuddling people outside of you household/bubble • You will be required to wear a mask on entry to the club for toilet visits • Smoking is only allowed in designated smoking area • Please sanitise/wash your hands regularly
If you are in a large group, please split yourselves into groups of 6 and we will try to keep you in the same area • Please show respect for other customers’ personal space and adhere to guidelines • If you have any concerns, please report them to a member of staff • The Club will open/close at various times – details on social media weekly

Some of these measures have been in place previously and some are new. Please support us in following these rules by being patient and courteous to others. All measures apply in addition to those already in place such as hand sanitisation and directional signposting. We appreciate that people may be nervous easing out of lockdown, so that is why we are making sure that the club remains as safe as possible for you to visit and enjoy. Please enjoy yourselves and look after each other.

Sports events continue and everyone is encouraged to use our facilities in the way they have in the past, within the rules that apply and those features outlined above. The club bears no responsibility for injury from sports events – watch out for flying cricket balls!

We look forward to seeing you.
