The Management Team

The volunteer members of The Management Team are from a wide range of disciplines in the club. The Management Team is nominated and voted for at the AGM.

The Management Team are driven to deliver the Club's Vision:

    Team Lead
    • Driving the rhythm of the management team and keeping a record of progress.
    • Co-coordinating the advertising and social media, focused on increasing membership and engagement.
    • Ensuring the club's income is well managed and the documentation is informative and accessible.
    • Ensuring the members are well connected, informed and have events and a club to be proud of.
    • Building the Club's Academy and increasing engagement with schools, colleges and minority groups.
    • The link between the Management Team and the club.
    • Followed Ben Robinson as Chairman, in late 2019 and driven the club onto greater success - on and off court.
    • Played for many years, but retired at the bottom of a deep trough, only to reignite my squash enthusiasm, and find that the trough could go much deeper.

    Treasurer
    • Ensuring the club's income is well managed and the documentation is informative and accessible.
    • Managing the bank account and carrying out transactions.
    • Keeping policies up to date and accessible on Wazygoose.
    • Coordinating trickle income initiatives.
    • Member of Ashbrooke for many years, not competitive but love the game. Retired but probably had more free time when I was working!! Time is filled with Grandchildren and many volunteering roles.
    • Treasurer since June 2019 and enjoying helping to reshape and move forward the squash element of the club
  • Fred Patterson

    Fred Patterson

    • Fred is a long standing squash player and is also the squash trustee on the Board of Trustees (BoT).
    • Fred's role on the BoT is to ensure that the squash section is represented in club matters, but to also present a united approach with other sections to ensure that the Ashbrooke club thrives.
