6 - BAR
Business has started to pick up but energy bills remain high.
Cost of living wage rises has kicked in and beer prices have increased. We are covering the cost of the rises rather than making a profit.
The pool table continues to make money, £1 ,070 in first ¼ of the year. Anthony Brown has sourced and put up a pool scoreboard at the end of the bar for use in matches.
As bar gets busier we need more staff. We also need to move towards contracts so staff know what is expected for bar and cleaning roles. Our cleaner is not turning up for some cleaning duties leaving other staff to fill in at the last minute.
LWC to be asked if they can provide desperately needed new tills ( maybe iPad type screen). They could also manage the card machines. Compare prices from other providers IF they also provide tills.
Guinness draught is too pricey. Need a solution from LWC?
Mick Martin to paint the function room in the near future.

The weather caused the friendlies to be cancelled last weekend with little hope of any being played next weekend. The season has officially been put back a week to 27th April.
The field needs a new drain down the drive side.
