4.1 - Action Point Update
• 4.4 (11/2/25) Marc/Kevin – Ongoing. Entrance door replacement still being considered but have identified problem with the lock.
• 4.4 (18/3/25) Marc - Ongoing. Saturday Keep Fit Leader to be contacted about parking.
• 4.4 (15/4/25) Kevin – Completed. Although players on Court 3 are still either wiping their hands on the glass wall or bouncing off it, leaving marks that require regular (volunteer) cleaning.
• 5 (15/4/25) Kevin – Completed. Door closer changed, top corridor, court 3.
• 5 (15/4/25) Kevin – Completed. Damaged lights replaced, bottom corridor, court 3.
• 5 (15/4/25) Marc & Kevin – rubbish removed.
4.2 - Dashboard
Marc reported that £1533.75 for court bookings and £23.75 in membership money had been transferred to the club.

4.3 - Squash News
Club Championship - Went well, spectator attendance was good throughout. Club Championship Cup won by Matt Stout; runner-up Connor Snaith. Championship Plate won by Ian Mapstone; runner-up Tim Smith. Over 65’s won by John Ord; runner-up Ken Landsbury.
Primrose v Boldon Annual FA Cup Challenge - Saturday 17th May beginning at 12pm. 15 pairs using all 4 courts. Running order to be posted behind each court, best of 5 matches to 11 points. Marc liaising with Paul Craigs who is catering for both teams.
4.4 - Squash club maintenance/ improvement
Glass-back Wall - Installation of seats has been beneficial. Looking into buying cushion pads to make the seats more comfortable. Installation of TV monitor to the side of court 3 to show match scores well received.
Members Feedback - None.
Cleaning - Marc still looking into alternative cleaners.
4.5 - Club Executive Committee Feedback (meeting 12th May)
Current account £17.2k Deposit account £5k
Bar income good.
Outgoings: Approx £3.5k for replacement air condition in cellar.
Pavilion work almost complete.
Misbehaviour on new patio area (skateboarding/cycling/football etc.) to be addressed.
Cricket – season underway. Teams 1 & 2 had a good start, doing well. All Stars scheme starting in July. 2 Girls Teams to begin this season. New Pro in place. £2.5k received for cricket and social memberships to date.
5 - AOB
Kevin has put forward a proposal to the Executive Committee to use the old Umpires room around the back of the Club as squash storage although there is work needed to repair the roof. In addition, other rooms could be used as Committee meeting rooms.
Squash Summer Teams – unlikely to happen this summer. Therefore, there will be a planned schedule of maintenance work across all 4 courts to be undertaken by in-house volunteers.
