5 - TREASURER
Deposit Account - 15,912; Current Account - £33,842
The biggest outlay was £7,978 – Corporation tax, therefore we need to spend on improvements.
Meeting on 16/10 requested by a Saville’s agent (Church Commissioners). 8 years left on 21 year lease. Discussion required on next lease and possible income from solar panels. Lease is £700 per quarter.
John Kilner has returned accounts with queries to be answered.
New boilers to go ahead. Air con to go ahead with cheaper option. Solar panels – we have permission to proceed from Church Commissioners so need to keep pushing Dom Warby for a quote.
6 - BAR
Takings are beginning to tail off after a successful summer. Staffing still an issue on Saturday evenings.
Wedding request refused but we will explore bowing green area for future wedding requests (would need to be refurbished).
Football presentation night agreed but only if held over 2 nights, on our terms.
Regarding noise letter from council, the music would be from finals day.
Function room – weekends are busy until Christmas.
7 - CRICKET
Boldon were promoted as league winners so planning required for next year.
Winter nets to start in January.
Girls did really well and made excellent progress throughout the season but suffered towards the end with lack of opposition. Hopefully they will have more games next season.
Required for next season are 2 new sightscreens and a new clock .
The section is looking for more helpers and level 1 coaches (notice to be put on junior sponsorship).
Date of AGM to be decided, presentation night likely to be 8 th November.
Regarding ball games on patio – will talk to juniors and parents.
8 - SQUASH
Winter leagues have started 1st – P2 W1; 2nd – P1 W1; 3rd – P3 W1; 4th – P3 W3.
Nov 22nd is Boldon Open. Kitchen required for food from early morning.
Club handicap starts beginning of December. Auction in bar on Sunday lunchtime 16/11.
Well done to Sophia Jameson who is U15 Girls Northumberland Junior Squash Champion.

- Discussion on issue of junior members playing cricket against squash wall. Reminder to be given to show respect towards club members and officials. If it reoccurs then it will be dealt with through official channels
