6 - BAR

JK explained that we have beaten targets and going forward with increased targets we are likely to receive £14k over 2 years, beginning with £7k to be received in January 2025. Marc reported that a number of squash players have asked for isotonic drinks to be available for sale behind the Bar. JK is to ask Sam to add these to the stock. The 1904 lager is to be reduced from 4% to 3.3% and the price reduced. Grand Central is to be changed to Camden IPA. New Sky system now in place thereby allowing viewing of EFL games. Function room tables damaged - JK to look into costs of replacing new stackable tables. JK advised the yoga group has asked for an extra slot on a Monday morning along with a discount because of increased use. However, the Committee agreed this is not cost effective owing to the additional staff costs required to open the premises. JK suggested the possibility of putting regular music nights on through the winter months to boost custom during a generally quiet period of the year.
