What a weekend we had as we welcomed 62 competitors to take part in the county closed. Each event was more competitive than ever with more 3-2’s across Saturday than we had ever seen before!
As always we have our Men’s and Women’s county titles up for grabs but we also had 7 other categories where county titles could be won.
Huge congratulations to Ben Hetherington who took the A and is once again crowned Cumbria County Champion. We have a new Ladies County Champion in Selina Harper who takes her first but we have no doubts it won’t be her last.
The rest of the categories were hard fought and made for a very entertaining afternoon of squash for the crowd, our winners were -

This event was a real team effort so thanks to everyone who offered to mark through the weekend and those who came down to watch and support the players. This really does make a massive difference in making it special for all taking part.
