The 3rd Ashes Trophy Competition will be held at Northern on Saturday 7th September - 5 pm start.
This will be a timed team event, with each player playing their opposite number in the other teams, to accumulate as many points as possible.Everyone will get (for example) 4 x 10 minute games against players of a similar standard. Teams will be sorted once all entries are in. The winning team (once all the points are added up) will be presented with the prestigious Ashes Trophy, which they will keep for a year.
Matches should all be finished by 7:30 and we can then all retire to the bar for a well earned drink or two!
Cost to enter is £3 - payable on the day. To enter, add your name to the list on the notice board behind court 1 or email Dave North (dandjnorth@tesco.net). Closing date for entries is Friday 6th September.
