The 5th running of the Ashes Trophy tournament took place on 12th September. The 15 players were split into 5 teams of 3, with the number 1s playing each other in a round robin (same for number 2s and number 3s) – non-stop 8 minute games.
After 2 hours frantic squash, all the points were added up and the final placings were:
Winners – Jack Cornell, Liam Kahn, Erin Vitty (222 points)
Runners up - Richard Vitty, Cameron Hamilton, Andrew Gibson (210 pts)
3rd - Josie Barker, Joel Birch-Machin, Gordie Robertson (194 pts)
4th – Derek Collins, Tom Cornell, Aanya Hamilton (193 pts)
5th – Keith Linsley, Tegan Younger, Wayne Eastaugh (170 pts)
Individual points winner was Erin Vitty with 77 points (just ahead of Andrew Gibson with 76 points and Tom Cornell with 75 points).
