The winner of the Newcastle Northern junior player of the month for November is Thomas Moore.
Thomas has been playing since the age of seven when he was discovered during our school outreach programme. He has made steady progress since that time and lately has increased in confidence.
His target at the start of this season was to make the under 15 county team and after some great squash during early season competitions he did so at number 3. His performance in stage 1 of the inter counties competition , by beating a much higher ranked opponent meant that the team qualified for stage 2.
Thomas never misses an opportunity to play squash . He always gives his best and plays in a tremendous spirit. Thomas is a great player to watch , his attacking style is very entertaining … one day I hope to be able to hit as many nicks as Thomas !
