Northern Junior player of the month for May and final winner for this season is Alfie Turpin.
Alfie has only been playing for 12 months , having been attracted to our junior sessions by the new Sport Newcastle sponsored Sunday afternoon sessions.
Having just started playing , Alfie immediately started playing in the local Dunlop Challenge series and he has managed to play in all 9 events this season. He has performed so well in these events that he finished second in the final points table ... winning a Dunlop racket for his efforts.
Alfie oozes enthusiasm for his squash and this award reflects the amount of effort he has invested in the last 12 months
