Charlie Ponente, Andy Smith and Alan Herbertson won this year's timed team event and the prestigious Ashes Trophy.
The 7th running of the Ashes Tournament took place on 16th September. This tournament celebrates the demise of the old booking paper file. The 15 players were split into 5 teams of 3, with the number 1s playing each other in a round robin (same for number 2s and number 3s) – non-stop 8 minute games.
After over 2 hours of frantic squash, all the points were added up to decide the winners.
Highest individual points scorer was Tony Cornell (100 points).
