Update for Members – COVID-19 Opening Policy
Ashbrooke Sports Club Remains Open and We Look Forward to Seeing You.
During the past week, we have adjusted to the changes introduced by the North East group of 7 Local Authorities and also taken account of the further changes announced by the Prime Minister this week.
From Thursday 24th September you will notice some changes on your next visit and these are probably as you would expect;
• On entry to the bar areas you will be asked for your details
• For Smartphone users you will be able to register your details on the Ashbrooke QR code.
• We also have available the NHS QR code capture for those of you who have the Track and Trace APP
• You will be shown to a table
• We operate table service only, for the ordering and serving of drinks
• The rule of 6 applies and individuals from different households can be part of a group of 6
• We will operate strictly to the capacity of the club and its seating arrangements
• Distancing of 1 metre will be applied
• You will be required to wear a mask on entry and at any point at which you move around the club including toilet visits
• The Club will close at 10.00 pm. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that is when people will need to leave by, it is not ‘Last Orders’ with a drink up time beyond 10.00 pm
Some of these measures are already in place so are re-emphasised (table service, closure time) and others are new (masks on moving around, a new way of recording details). All of these measures apply in addition to those already in place such as hand sanitisation and directional signposting.
We appreciate that people may be nervous about coming out, so that is why we are making sure that the club remains as safe as possible for you to visit and enjoy.
Sports events continue to be shown and everyone is encouraged to use our facilities in the way they have in the past, within the rules that apply and those features outlined above.
We look forward to seeing you.
