WHAT A BARGAIN! WE’RE QUIDS IN!
Off-peak court fees this summer have been slashed to a meagre £1.00 - yes that’s right just one pound!
The super sale of the season will begin on Monday July 19th and will run through to Tuesday 31st August,
So any court booked up to and including the 3.40 court will only cost 100 pence. Peak period begins with the 4.20 court.
This great offer will coincide with most of the school holidays but will also act as an incentive to all members to get back on court as the Covid restrictions continue to unwind.
In the short term, staggered courts will still operate though this is expected to be reviewed again with the government looking set to confirm the lifting of social distancing measures later this month.
So get playing - and save money!

CLUB NIGHT TOO WILL RETURN WITH A FREEBIE!
The great Northern give-away keeps on going with club night set to return with the first two sessions free to members.
The re-launch date for the popular Saturday night out, which run from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, has been pencilled in for Saturday 24th July and will be confirmed once the government definitely lifts the current restrictions,
The financial boost comes courtesy of Northumbria Squash who will pickup the court fees for the first two weeks as part of their subsidy scheme to encourage the return to squash.
Keep an eye on the Wazygoose website for confirmation nearer the date.

SURELY NOT MORE NORTHERN GENEROSITY?
Don’t forget that full, adult members who were paid up when Covid put squash out of action last March will be rewarded with a 50% reduction in their annual membership fee when renewals are due in September.
The club’s squash year was shifted from April to recognise the suspension of squash last year.
Meanwhile, membership numbers have started to increase encouragingly in recent weeks.
We’re particularly pleased to welcome new friends from Eldon Leisure who have lost their club following the recent closure of the centre.

TO THE SECRET DOODLER: STOP! YOU’RE NO BANKSY!
Court One was not designed for street art so it was horrifying to see some idiot had drawn on the wall and floor of our show court in black felt tip pen.
No matter how tempting our pristine walls might look, this act of vandalism, regardless of how small, is totally unacceptable.
We’ve invested a lot in making our courts, we think, the best in the area. Their condition has even won praise from the professionals who’ve graced them in our Northern Classic tournament.
We’d like to keep them that way.
And we will be checking the club’s CCTV cameras for a clue about the guilty party.
