From everyone on the committee we want to wish all of our members and their families a very merry Christmas and all the best for 2022.
This year (like the last) has not been easy, with covid still causing disruption in the world. As a squash and racketball club we have survived with the help and support of our members. From keeping the club clean, to general maintenance and money through the lights when we were allowed to return to sport; everyone has helped to keep the club running through these difficult times. Special thanks to Will, Russ, Mark, Simon and Louise for committing to cleaning the club weekly during covid restrictions but also continuing once normal squash resumed and also to all those who came to help on maintenance day in September 2021.
We welcomed a lot of new members to the club this year as well, and our ladies section has grown stronger and stronger by the month. A large part of our success with the ladies is down to the coaching which they receive. Thanks to Brian, Andy, Malcolm, Dom and Simon for volunteering their time this year to coach week in week out and develop our junior and adult sections.
As always, thanks to Simon Mawson from every member of the club for helping them with any issues they have had this year! Without you the club would not be able to operate as smoothly as it does and I think I can speak for everyone that they appreciate the hard work and dedication you give to the club.
