M Shipley pointed out that the court bookings were in fact £1192. Outside umbrellas have arrived.
5 - TREASURER
Current account £12,476 and Deposit account £20,002. Recent weeks have been bumper weeks in the till.
Utilities are still high but we are coping in the summer. Government has withdrawn its support.
6 - BAR
The new beers have been successful so far. Bar has taken £108,409 in 6 months. Wage rises have been absorbed. No chance of a return of Stella 4.
7 - CRICKET
1st and 2nd teams are both 2nd top of their divisions. The A team are top and the Midweek team are doing well. The juniors are starting their season. Crowdfunding - we have hit the target and have received £3,000 from Sport England. Need to apply for a Grant aid to fund the remainder.
8 - SQUASH
Bookings were £1215 and memberships £104.50 (193 members). There are 13 internal leagues, the highest number for a few years. Summer leagues have started and both teams have played 2 and won 1.
The 50th anniversary celebration went well and an original set of plans was donated to the club.
Refurbishment of the ladies changing room has started.
9 - MEMBERSHIPS
28 Social members have joined via the app.
10 - AOB
Glass etching for the front door is still to arrive.
New TV has been bought to stream notices and advertise events.
New hand dryer is needed in the ladies toilet. Anthony Brown to be asked to supply and fit.
Tidy ups needed in the bar and cellar, old kitchen and function room.
Jobs maintenance list to be circulated by email and a discussion to be had around prioritisation.
The leak in the bar is still to be traced.
Accounts were sent off in March and need to be chased up so that an AGM can be organised.
