Hand dryer now installed. Maintenance list being compiled.
5 - TREASURER
Current account has £20,550 and Deposit account £20,002. Draft accounts for 2022 are now back, will bring to next meeting.
6 - BAR
Cellar space is a real issue as beer sales continue to rise. Investigating knocking down the storage shed at the back of the bar and replacing it with a 20ft container, cost between £2,500 and £3,500.
The new Guinness system is in and selling well.
Friday evenings expected to be busy for the next 7 weeks with All Stars.
Bar staff; 1 gone, 2 new.
TV advertising screen is now up and notices/adverts will be added.
7 - CRICKET
Over the last few weeks several games have been lost to the weather. 1st team are 2nd, 2nd team are 4th, 3rd team are 4th and A team are top.
All Stars and Dynamos continue on Fridays with about 90 signed up.
8 - SQUASH
2 teams are competing in the Summer Leagues. Boldon 1 has won 4 and lost 2 and Boldon Mondays have won 3 and lost 3.
Intention is to enter 4 teams in the Winter Leagues.
Ladies changing room is almost finished.
June court bookings were £1,215 and memberships £57. Total £8,647 for the year so far.
199 members. Membership renewals will start next month for September.
Someone coming next week to look at refurbishing squash court walls. Also looking to replace old ceiling in courts 1 and 2 (closest to the bar) to provide more insulation. Quote for new ceiling £7,100.
The roof above courts 1 and 2 is in good repair.
