Current Account - £23,320; Deposit Account £15,870
Approx £50k per month from bar takings, to go towards air con and solar panels.
Also on maintenance list are new window frames in the area opposite the kitchen by next season.
The small cutter needs a new cassette (£1,231)
We are seeking quotes from Highly Efficient Heating and other for air con/heating in the function room and also for air con in the cellar.
Seaburn Gas stripped the boiler down and located the leakage problem. They quoted £6,340 inc VAT for 2 new boilers but we need other quotes. We also need to investigate a more efficient way to heat the water in the squash showers.
6. BAR
Wages have gone up and we need more bar staff.
The new glass washer cost £1,079.
7. CRICKET
- The season is going well having only lost 1 game. We are pushing for the league and have 2 cup finals coming up. The U17 and U19 teams are also pushing for the league.
8. SQUASH
Four teams have been entered into the winter leagues.
A court maintenance programme is in progress (washing walls and filling gaps/holes) and courts 1 and 2 are done.
An electrician is coming to put in extra sockets in the squash area to assist in marking in matches and competitions.
9. MEMBERSHIP
- No new members.
10. AOB
- The club insurance has been renewed, made cheaper by clubmark (ECB liability and indemnity insurance). We now need an annual roof inspection.
