Northern FC Squash hold their annual championships at the end of the winter squash season, usually starting in late April or early May. Normally the Championships are held over a 2 week period, climaxing on a Saturday evening around the middle of May, when all the finals are held, followed by the Annual Presentation Evening.
In recent years, the Men’s Championships have consisted of graded "A", "B” and "C” events (and even a "D” event where entries have been sufficient). In 2012, Ladies "A” and "B” events were held for the first time. Plate competitions are also held for first match losers in each event. This means that everyone entering will play in a competition with players of a similar standard, will get at least 2 matches, and stands a good chance of picking up a winners or runners-up trophy.
Men’s and Ladies Club Champions are recorded on the honours boards behind Court 1.
