World Squash Day 2012
World Squash Day has launched a "Back the Bid 2020" campaign to help promote and qualify squash as an Olympic Game.

World No 1 James Willstrop Exhibition Match
World-ranked number 1 squash professional James Willstrop played an exhibition match at Northern Squash Club in April 2012. He also trained with the juniors and attended a dinner where he answered questions from club members.

Northern Squash Club Annual Presentation Evening
At our annual presentation evening we celebrate the end of the winter season and the achievements of our members over the previous year. It also marks the climax of the Club Championships.

Club Championships
The Northern Squash Club Championships are an annual competition open to all members, played across men's and women's events with multiple competitions, all climaxing in the finals held on the club's annual Presentation Evening.

Geoff Younger Trophy
The Geoff Younger Trophy is a tournament in memory of Geoff Younger, a member of our club who sadly passed away. Geoff loved tournaments like this one so, in 2011, we decided to create the Geoff Younger Trophy, an annual tournament in his name.

Club Refurbishment Opening Night
In summer 2011 at Northern Squash Club we upgraded our facilities at the cost of £50,000. We celebrated the re-opening of our stunning new courts and changing rooms with a night of squash including an exhibition match between Paul Lord and Dave Barnett.
